Life in the Coast Guard - Bering Sea was created to follow the adventures of Chris Ault as he makes his impact on the world after high school. Chris completed Coast Guard Basic Training on July 31, 2009 and assigned to the United States Coast Guard Cutter Acushnet, which is based out of Ketchikan Alaska. The Acushnet deploys 160 days out of the year to the Gulf of Alaska and Bering Sea primarily for Search and Rescue, Law Enforcement, and Maritime Security.

USCGC ACUSHNET
The USCGC Acushnet is known as the Coast Guards, "Queen of the Fleet" due to the long and distinguished service the Cutter has provided to our country and assigned to the World's Most Dangerous Waters.
